CLAY WORKSHOPS:
ONGI: HANDBUILDING ON THE WHEEL Learn the ancient art of coil-building oversized pots on the wheel. This unique style of "throwing" does not require the same strength or skill. Demonstrations equip students with the skills to create oversized vessels such as vases, umbrella stands, chimneas and planters. Only centering experience is required. Fee covers instruction, project clay and BISQUE firing. Participants may pay extra if they wish to glaze fire their pot. $60.00 per person (all current ELEMENTS students may glaze fire their ongi pot at no extra charge). Sat. 8/16 C.Winokur 10a - 4p

Previous ONGI Workshop
From I-285 North or South:
1. Take Exit 39B, Highway 78 East
2. Take Exit 4, Mountain Industrial Boulevard-Turn Left.
3. Turn Left at the Third Light, Elmdale Dr.
4. Cross over Tucker Industrial Road. KPS is on the right-hand corner of Elmdale and Tucker Industrial Road, in front of KPS. The parking lot entrance is located on Elmdale.
5. Enter at the front door.
From I-85 North or South and Jimmy Carter Boulevard:
1. Take Jimmy Carter towards Tucker. The street will change it's name to Mountain Industrial Blvd. when it enters DeKalb County.
2. You will pass Hugh Howell Rd. and go two more lights to Elmdale Dr. Turn Right.
3. Cross over Tucker Industrial Road. Elements is on the right-hand corner of Elmdale and Tucker Industrial Road, in front of KPS. The parking lot entrance is located on Elmdale.
4. Enter at the front door.
